The Crittenden County Sheriff’s Office is proud to announce a recent addition to its tool chest in the fight against crime. We have teamed up with Relativity, Inc. of Jonesboro, a Government and Public Safety Solutions Company to bring you an app called QuikTip. QuikTip allows the user to anonymously send a message directly to our 911 Dispatch Center, at any time, from several different app platforms (iPhone, iPad, and Android devices). Download yours today from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. CC_BannerBadge
Through this app our safety personnel are now able to chat directly with tip providers, while the person sharing information remains unidentifiable. The user can also receive Emergency Alerts (weather, highway accidents, etc.) and best of all it is FREE.
The anonymous information provided is sent to a dispatcher who reviews the tip and either responds directly to you or refers the information to someone who can help (24 hours a day/7 days a week). If it’s a tip that may result in a felony arrest and would be eligible for a Crime Stoppers reward, the tipster will be given a phone number to call and collect up to a $2,000 reward through Crime Stoppers.
The Crittenden County Sheriff’s Department is already added to the list of agencies within the QuikTip app. Simply search for QuikTip in the App Store, then click on the settings and select Crittenden County Sheriff.
